He suffered a finger injury during Monday’s match against Punjab Kings and will no longer be able to play in the entire tournament due to it.

This was informed by Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday night. Giving details of Stokes’ injury, it was reported that the finger injury he suffered last night was serious. Due to this, he is now out of the entire season of IPL 2021. He will stay with the Rajasthan Royals team and help his teammates in all the matches ahead.
Rajasthan lost the first match against Punjab by 4 runs in a close match. Batting first, skipper KL Rahul’s 91 helped the team post a score of 221 runs. In reply, Rajasthan were 217 for 7 thanks to a century from skipper Sanju Samson.
