The entire country is currently reeling under the second wave of coronavirus. However, now the number of cases has declined as compared to the previous days. Due to these circumstances, other competitive examinations including JEE Mains and NEET examinations including 12th board examinations have also been pending for a long time. However, media reports now say that the jee main April-may exam session can be held in July-August. The Neet exam can be conducted in September. However, no official notification has been issued by the concerned agency or board in this regard.
According to a TOI report, the main examination of the NTA JEE April-May session is likely to be held at the end of July-August. According to the TOI report, NTA sources said that the agency is considering conducting a NEET-UG exam in September for admission to a medical course. The process of registration for the same can be started from July 1. It is also considering conducting the examination in pen-paper mode.
Tell us that the NEET ug exam was scheduled for 1st August. While online registration for the exam was scheduled to begin in April, it was stopped in April due to an increase in cases by the NTA. Apart from this, the decision was taken recently by the Ministry of Education in a high-level meeting on 23rd May. The meeting discussed CBSE 12th, JEE Main April-May, NEET UG Exam 2021. The meeting was attended by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Education Ministers from various states. The Education Minister has been asked to prepare a report on the examinations. A final decision on these examinations will be taken on June 1.
