NASA Warns: 120-Foot ‘airplane-sized’ asteroid to fly past Earth on 4 July

NASA has confirmed asteroid 2025 MV89 is approaching Earth. The space rock measures about 120 feet in diameter. That’s roughly the size of a small passenger plane.

Asteroid 2025 MV89 to Pass Earth Safely

NASA has confirmed asteroid 2025 MV89 is approaching Earth. The space rock measures about 120 feet in diameter. That’s roughly the size of a small passenger plane.

It will make its closest approach on 4 July. The asteroid will pass at a safe distance of 1.22 million kilometres. It is travelling at a speed of 19,441 miles per hour.
