Mumbai train tragedy: Six feared dead after falling off local train, several injured

As many as six passengers are fearfed dead and several others sustained injuries after falling off a local train en route to Thane’s Kasara area from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on Monday, News18 reported.

The incident took place during peak hours, causing alarm among commuters. As per report, railway officials reached the spot and the injured were taken to a hospital. Initial reports suggest that the passengers were travelling while hanging on to the doors and fell due to overcrowding in the train. Investigation is underway and further details are awaited.
