India intercepts missile targeted at Delhi; attacks four air bases in Pakistan

India also thwarted Pakistan’s bid to attack Jammu air force station. A top government source said that air-to-surface missile was used by India to hit Pakistan. Pakistan is calling their action against India as ‘Bunyan Un Marsoos’.

CNBC-TV18 that the Indian air defence thwarted Pakistan’s attacks on Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur. All Indian airbases are safe.

The IAF operations were still on in the early hours of Saturday, May 10. India attacked four air bases in Pakistan, including Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, Murid and Rafiqi airbases, sources said. Pakistan intensified air operations.

On another note, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and other aviation authorities have ordered a temporary suspension of civil flight operations at 32 airports across northern and western India till May 25, 2025.

In addition to airport closures, 25 segments of Air Traffic Service (ATS) routes within the Delhi and Mumbai Flight Information Regions will remain closed to civilian traffic. According to NOTAM G0555/25, which supersedes G0525/25, the affected routes are restricted from ground level to unlimited altitude until 5.29 am on May 15.
