Along with Delhi, the rainy season is also continuing in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad. This is the second time during the last fortnight that it is raining so heavily.

At the same time, the process of heavy rain is still going on in some areas. If this spell of rain continues, there may be waterlogging on the roads and people may have to face problems.

On the other hand, Skymet Weather Vice President Mahesh Palawat said that due to the formation of the Upper Cyclonic Circulation over Madhya Pradesh, the axis of the monsoon went straight there. Hence, there will be good rains over Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan for the next several days. Due to the effect of easterly winds and moisture, there can definitely be heavy rain somewhere in Delhi on Tuesday. From September 3 to 6, the weather will become dry. After six, there will be a possibility of rain once again.
Earlier on Monday, the clouds dodged again. The people of Delhi waited for their rain throughout the day, but this wait did not end even till late evening. It was cloudy at times, but blew away with the wind, playing blindly with the sun. Although the Meteorological Department had also issued a yellow alert but proved to be wrong.
Many times a day on Monday, it seemed that it would start raining soon. More or less the situation remained like this till evening, but it did not rain. The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was recorded a notch below normal at 25.3 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the air was 67 to 87 percent. The Meteorological Department has forecast that it will be cloudy throughout the day on Tuesday. Light to moderate rain is expected. The maximum and minimum temperatures may be 33 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
