As Hindustan Times reported, counter-terrorism officials in Delhi said militant groups and ISI were using drones to smuggle weapons on a small scale. However, in recent times they have bought the modern version of the drone. These drones are capable of carrying large quantities of weapons at once.

Smuggling of arms from Punjab border

An official said that it is not easy for terrorists to infiltrate the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir due to high mountains and heavy snowfall. In such a situation, there have been many reports that terrorist organizations are smuggling weapons through the Punjab border with the help of drones. So that their terrorist incidents continue in the Kashmir valley.

Khalistani looking to take advantage of the peasant movement

The latest reports also reveal that Pakistan-based Khalistani groups are also looking to take advantage of the farmers’ movement in Punjab. Through this, they are trying to promote terrorism again in Punjab. Such reports have been reported several times by the state police to the central and internal security agencies. Since 12 August in Punjab alone, a large number of weapons have been recovered from four drones made in China.

Terrorist organizations can attack through drones

Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is looking for an alternative to cheap drones for terrorists to carry out small bomb attacks. Recently, in many parts of the world, it has been seen that the attack on the drone has caused heavy damage to the opposing side. It was also seen during the recent Armenia Azerbaijan war.
