Ajit Doval And Russia’s NSA Will Meet Tomorrow In Delhi Amid Afghanistan Crisis

Read Time:1 Minute, 26 Second

India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Russia’s NSA Nikolai Patrushev met on 8 September amid the Afghanistan crisis. It is believed that the situation in Afghanistan can be discussed in this meeting. There has been turmoil in all countries since the Taliban occupation of Afghanistan on 15 August.

Russian Ambassador Nikolay Kudashev also stated Afghanistan

It is worth noting that earlier Russian Ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev had also said about Afghanistan that it is a matter of concern for Russia and India. The ambassador also expressed concern over the resurgence of terrorism.

Taliban rule in Afghanistan

Recently, the Taliban claimed that Panjshir had also been captured. However, these claims have been dismissed as false. Now a new government can be established in Afghanistan by forming a Taliban regime. In this regard, the Taliban has also sent invitations to six countries, which include countries like Russia, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, and Qatar. Russia’s name is included in the Taliban invitation, but India’s name is not included. In such a situation, the meeting of Ajit Doval and Nikolai Petrushev to be held tomorrow is considered very important. It has to be seen what the NSAs of both the countries together will plan for Afghanistan. Because the citizens of both the countries have also been affected by the Taliban.

Nikolay Kudashev also spoke on the security of the people of India and Russia in Afghanistan

Russian Ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev said that both of us in Afghanistan (India and Russia) need security and an inclusive government that meets the needs of the Afghan people. On the ongoing situation in Afghanistan, the Ambassador had said that the people of Afghanistan and the country need time to introspect.
