India Beat Australia By 11 Runs, Lead 1-0 In Series

Team India has won the three-match T20 series with a win. Virat Brigade defeated Australia by 11 runs in the first T20 match played at the Manuka Oval ground in Canberra. After losing the ODI series 1-2, India has made a great start to the T20 series and lead 1-0. After losing the toss, Team India lost 7 wickets in 20 overs to score 161 runs and set Australia a target of 162 runs to win. In reply, Australia lost 7 wickets in 20 overs to make 150 runs. T Natarajan and Yuzvendra Chahal took 3-3 wickets for India. Deepak Chahar took 1 wicket.

Australia captain Ron Finch was out for 35. Concussion Substitution Yuzvendra Chahal got him caught by Hardik Pandya. Chahal then gave Australia a second blow by getting Steve Smith caught by Sanju Samson. Smith was out for 12. In the 11th over, T Natarajan dismissed Glenn Maxwell as Australia’s third wicket. Natarajan outscored Maxwell lbw. Maxwell was out for 2. Matthew Wade (7) and Moises Henriques (30) were also out.

India target 162 runs

KL Rahul scored a half-century while retaining impressive form in T20 cricket, but Ravindra Jadeja’s aggressive innings proved to be a “firefighter” for India, who took India to 161 for 7 in the first T20 against Australia. For Team India, KL Rahul scored the highest 51 while Ravindra Jadeja scored 44 runs.

Moises Henriques took the highest 3 wickets for Australia. Mitchell Starc got 2 wickets, Adam Zampa and Mitchell Swepson 1-1.
