San Francisco:- Twitter has removed 130 Iranian accounts trying to disrupt public dialogue during the first election debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat candidate Joe Biden in the US.

Says Twitter, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had provided this information ‘ based on Intel ‘. The social media giant says that after completion of the investigation, detailed information about the deleted account and its contents will be given and will also be published as per rules. However, there was no involvement of more people than these accounts and it did not affect public interaction.

Last month, Facebook and Twitter had identified a network that is in contact with the Russian government machinery through clues from the FBI. US intelligence agencies have already cautioned that many foreign forces are in the way of influencing the US presidential election.
