
Former President Pranab Mukherjee Passes Away At 84 Years Old, Was Admitted To Delhi Hospital
Former President Pranab Mukherjee passed away on Monday at the age of 84 years. He was sick for a long time and was hospitalized in Delhi. Pranab Mukherjee’s son Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted about the demise of the former president.
Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted, “With a heavy heart, I am informing you that my father, Shri Pranab Mukherjee’s R. R. The hospital has passed away despite the best efforts of doctors and prayers of the people all over the country. I thank all of you for adding hands. ‘
On the passing away of Pranab Mukherjee, prominent personalities including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi have condoled the loss of their grief. President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, “Heart attacked by former President Shri Pranab Mukherjee’s ascension. His demise is the end of an age. I convey my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and all our countrymen. ‘
He further wrote, “As the first citizen of India, he made conscious efforts to connect with the people and enhance the proximity of the people to Rashtrapati Bhavan. He opened the doors of Rashtrapati Bhavan to the public. His decision to end the word ‘His Excellency’ for the President is historic. ‘

Earlier, Pranab Mukherjee’s health had deteriorated further. The hospital had reported that their health declined as they had a septic shock due to lung infection. Septic shock is a serious condition in which blood pressure stops working and body parts fail to get enough oxygen.
The Army’s research and referral hospital had reported that doctors treating 84-year-old Mukherjee said he was in a deep coma and was on a ventilator. The former president was admitted to the hospital here on 10th August and underwent brain surgery. Later, his lungs were also infected.
“The health of Shri Pranab Mukherjee has declined since yesterday. Lung infections have caused septic trauma and are now being treated by a team of specialists. He is still in a deep coma and is on ventilator support. Mukherjee was the 13th president between 2012 and 2017.
