A portion of the Sattarghat Bridge on Gandak River in Bihar’s Gopalganj crumpled on Wednesday, a month after it was introduced by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. The scaffold breakdown has now set off a political column in the state.

As the water level rose in the stream because of substantial precipitation, a segment of the scaffold apparently crumbled and was washed away. This happened a month after the main priest introduced the scaffold after many exhibits.

Presently, the bridge breakdown has set off a political line in Bihar with Opposition pioneer Tejashwi Yadav propelling an assault on the Nitish Kumar government.

Nonetheless, Bihar Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav has stated, “The methodology section that has crumpled is 2 km away from primary Sattarghat Bridge. No harms have been caused to any scaffold. Simply the methodology piece of a minor extension has crumbled.”

The development of the extension apparently took 8 years to finish and was at long last introduced a month ago.

RJD pioneer Tejashwi Yadav has stated, “Following 8 years of work, the Sattarghat Bridge was at last opened 29 days prior. The scaffold cost Rs 264 crore. Did the main pastor open the extension in a rush to get awards? We need the organization that assembled this scaffold to be boycotted right away.”
