Gaza peace deal in jeopardy? Shocking video shows Hamas publicly executing ‘collaborators’

Shocking footage reportedly showing Hamas executing Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel has sparked international concern and fears that the recently signed Gaza peace deal could unravel. The video, whose authenticity and date Moneycontrol cannot independently verify, depicts at least seven men kneeling with their hands tied behind their backs. Moments later, gunfire erupts and the men fall to the ground as onlookers chant “Allahu Akbar.” Crowds can be heard calling the victims “collaborators.”

The peace deal, which Trump helped negotiate, marked a significant development in the region. The Israeli military confirmed that Hamas has released all living hostages held in Gaza in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and detainees. This first phase of the Gaza peace plan triggered a ceasefire, allowing increased humanitarian aid into the war-torn territory. According to Israeli officials, 20 living hostages were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross, while Hamas has so far returned the bodies of only four of the 28 captives who died in custody.

In exchange, Israel freed 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life terms and more than 1,700 detainees from Gaza, including minors. The 20-point agreement envisions a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from parts of the Gaza Strip, monitored by a multinational force.

Gaza is to be demilitarised and temporarily governed by a Palestinian technocratic administration overseen by an international “Board of Peace” chaired by Donald Trump. Hamas, which has controlled Gaza since 2007, is expected to relinquish power and disarm, though it has not yet publicly confirmed its commitment to these terms.
