EU Nations Buying Russia Oil ‘FRUSTRATE’ Zelensky; Ukraine President Goes On Ugly Rant

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized ongoing European dependence on Russian oil and called for a tougher 18th round of EU sanctions against Moscow. Speaking with European Council President Antonio Costa, Zelensky expressed frustration over some EU nations’ double standards—complying with energy trade while criticizing Ukraine.

He demanded a stronger sanctions package and exposed European companies still sending components used in Russian weapons. Zelensky proposed an oil price cap to curb Russia’s war funding. His remarks came as EU leaders gathered to discuss new sanctions and international conflicts.
