AFCAT 2021 Notification: Alert for candidates preparing for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) conducted by Indian Air Force every year. A short notification has been issued by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT Batch 02/2021) to be conducted twice a year for recruitment as Commissioned Officer in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branch. As per the AFCAT Batch 02/2021 notification issued by IAF, Air Force Joint Entrance Examination 2021 will be conducted for a total of 334 vacancies of courses starting in July 2022.
Application Start From 1st to 30th June
Candidates desirous of applying for AFCAT Batch 02/2021 will be able to apply through an online application form to be made available on portal, careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in through recruitment of Air Force. AFCAT Batch 02/2021 Application Process is scheduled to commence from 1st June and candidates will be able to submit their AFCAT batch 02/2021 application online by 30th June 2021. Candidates should note that at the time of online application, they will also have to deposit an application fee of Rs. However, candidates applying under NCC Special Entry and Metrology Entry will not have to deposit the application fee.
Who can apply?
As per the AFCAT Batch 02/2021 Short Notification by the Air Force, candidates who are between 20 years and 24 years of age on 1st July 2022, i.e., born between 2nd July 1998 and 1st July 2002, can apply. On the other hand, the age limit for AFCAT Grant Duty Branch is 20 to 26 years. Along with the age limit, candidates are also required to meet the conditions of educational qualification and physical criteria prescribed as per flying or grant duty branch.
