BEIJING:- China on Monday accused the U.S. of “keeping an eye on” Chinese students and researchers, harassing them, and deliberately detaining them. ”

A researcher from a university in California alleges that he lied about his relationship with the Chinese army and the Communist Party to come to the US and that is why he did not get bail. This was followed by the statement of External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin.

Wang said China has no intention of cooperating with the country’s gambling leg.

He, however, said that China urges the US to “deal with the matter in accordance with the law in an impartial manner and ensure the safety and proper rights of the leg.” ”

“For some time, the US has been keeping an eye on Chinese students and researchers, harassing them and deliberately detaining them,” Wang said. ”

“The action of the Americans is a serious violation of the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens and has seriously hampered the general culture and personnel exchange between China and the US,” he said. ”

Refusing bail, US Magistrate Judge Deborah Burns said that if the leg (37) is released, he will leave the country. The leg was arrested on July 23 and since then he is arrested without bail. He left the Chinese consulate in San Francisco to treat asthma.
