Read Time:1 Minute, 2 Second

Abu Dhabi, a country with a population of 1.5 million, will become a center of faith for about 3.3 million Indians living in the UAE. The first Hindu temple is being built in Abu Dhabi. Whose work has started rapidly? The temple complex, being built on 16.7 acres, will cost 45 crore dirhams (about 900 crore rupees). It is estimated that the temple construction will be completed by 2023. More than 2000 artifacts will be installed in this temple.

More than 3000 workers and craftsmen are working on this. Around 5,000 tonnes of Italian Carrara marble will be used in the temple. The stone and artifacts found in the temple are carved in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The exterior of the temple will be made of about 12 thousand 250 tonnes of pink sandstone. These stones are believed to have the ability to withstand severe heat and do not heat up even at 50 ° C.

This temple is under construction by the Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) of Bochasan. This temple is being built on the lines of Akshardham Temple. However, it will be smaller in size than the Akshardham Temple in Delhi. Dubai has two temples (of Shiva and Krishna) and a gurudwara.
