For the first time in the country, a woman will be hanged in Uttar Pradesh. The guilty woman will be hanged in the hanging house in the women’s jail in Mathura. No date has been set for when the hanging will take place. However, repairing the hanging house and the rope of the noose has been ordered. Pawan Jallad, who lives in Meerut, said that Mathura jail officials have contacted him. Will arrive as soon as the call comes.

The house was hanged in Mathura jail in 1870
The hanging house was built in 1870 in Mathura Jail to hang women. No one has been hanged in this hanging house since independence. Jail Superintendent Shailendra Kumar Maitreya has written a letter to high officials to repair the hanging house that has been closed for years. However, he denied information about Shabnam being hanged. It said that the condition of the hanging house was bad, so a letter was written to repair it.

Fainted by giving medicine, then cut with an ax
Shabnam, a resident of Babankhedi village in Amroha, along with her lover Salim, murdered her father Shaukat Ali, mother Hashmi, brother Anees Ahmed, his wife Anjum, niece Rabia, and brother Rashid besides Anees’s 10-month-old son Arsh on 15 April 2008. Had done it. All were first rendered unconscious by giving medicine and after this, except Arsh, the others were cut with an ax. Shabnam stabbed Arsh and killed him.
Investigation revealed that Shabnam was pregnant, but the family was not ready for her marriage to Salim. For this reason, Shabnam met the lover Salim and put the whole family to sleep.
Babankhedi was in Moradabad district in 2008
Babankhedi village inside Amroha district used to come in Moradabad district in 2008. Amroha district was declared by the then Chief Minister Mayawati. Babankhedi then moved to Amroha and the hearing of the Babankhedi murder case began in the trial court of Amroha district.
On July 15, 2010, the trial court convicted both of them and sentenced them to death. After this, the High Court, Supreme Court also upheld the hanging. Shabnam had demanded an apology citing the son. In September 2015, UP Governor Ram Naik also dismissed Shabnam’s mercy petition.
Shabnam gave birth to her son in jail
Shabnam gave birth to a son on 14 December 2008 while in jail. His son stayed with him in jail. On 15 July 2015, his son came out of jail, after which Shabnam handed over the son to Usman Saifi and his wife. Usman is a college friend of Shabnam, a journalist in Bulandshahr.
Shabnam had laid two conditions before assigning a son to Usman. His son should never be taken to his village because his life is in danger there and the second condition was that the son’s name is changed.
