iQOO U3x 5G smartphone was launched in March with Snapdragon 480 5G processor. Now, the company has launched a new 4G MediaTek chipset variant of the handset. The iQOO U3x 4G variant has less powerful specifications than the previous variant. This version has been named iQOO U3x Standard Edition and is available for pre-order in China.
The iQOO U3x smartphone is available for purchase on Vivo’s online shop and on Jingdong. The phone comes in Morning Frost and Light Black color. The phone’s 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant costs 899 yuan (about Rs 10,200) while the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant costs 1099 yuan (around Rs 12500). The sale of the handset will start on June 9.
iQOO has given MediaTek Helio G80 processor in the new variant. Whereas the Snapdragon 480 chipset was given in the old 5G variant. The phone has a 6.51-inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The refresh rate of the screen is 90 Hz. A waterdrop notch is present on the display. The iQOO U3x Standard Edition has the option of 128 GB inbuilt storage with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM.
The iQOO U3x Standard Edition has a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling.
This new variant of iQOO has 5000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. But in the new smartphone, the company has given a Micro-USB port instead of USB Type-C. The device runs on Android 11 based Origin OS. The handset comes with a face unlock and fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor is present on the edge of the phone. Connectivity features like Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi have been provided for connectivity in the handset. The dimensions of the phone are 164.41×76.32×8.41 millimeters and weighing 191.4 grams.
