Mohanlal, who arrived at Sitara in Kozhikode at 5 am on Thursday, pays his last respects to MT Vasudevan Nair. TK Rajeev Kumar and Babu Baby Marine are also present.

In a heartfelt tribute to legendary writer and filmmaker MT Vasudevan Nair, actor Mohanlal shared that MT was the person who gave him the best characters of his film career. Mohanlal made these remarks as he spoke to the media after arriving at MT’s home at 5:00 am to pay his final respects to the iconic figure.

Mohanlal visited MT’s residence, ‘Sitara,’ in Kozhikode to offer condolences. The actor was accompanied by director TK Rajeev Kumar and other colleagues.

“We have had a relationship for many years. MT is the person who gave me the best characters of my film career. I had the opportunity to act under his direction in Amrutham Gamaya. We shared a strong bond of affection. MT visited the sets of our last film, Olavum Theeravum, and we had many conversations. He had also come to Mumbai to watch my Sanskrit plays. I was fortunate to portray many remarkable characters penned by him,” said Mohanlal.

Some of the best roles in Mohanlal’s acting career were penned by MT, particularly the character of Sathyan in the film Sadayam, which became an iconic portrayal. MT Vasudevan Nair had often praised Mohanlal’s performances, recognising his exceptional acting talent.
