Lucknow, In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Government has suspended five policemen including SP Vikrant Vir of Hathras while taking stern action on negligence in the case of a young woman in Hathras late in the evening. The decision has been taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the basis of the preliminary inquiry report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted under the chairmanship of Secretary Home Bhagwan Swarup for the Hathras case. At the same time, polygraphs and Narco tests of all the litigants and defendants will also be conducted.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to suspend the action against the existing SP Vikrant Vir, DSP Ram word, Inspector-in-charge Dinesh Kumar Verma, senior deputy Inspector Jagvir Singh and head Muharrir Mahesh Pal, who was convicted of supervision in the incident of murder of the young woman. Sp Shamli Vineet Jaiswal has been appointed as the new SP of Hathras in place of SP Vikrant Vir. Nityananda Rai has been made the SP in charge of Shamli. Nityananda was working as an additional SP at Rae Bareli.
Allahabad High Court officers summoned: Additional Chief Secretary home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that based on the preliminary inquiry report of the Siti, instructions have also been issued to conduct polygraphs and Narco analysis tests of all the five suspended policemen, litigants, accused, and other concerned persons and policemen including SP. Hathras would conduct a polygraph and Narco test of the incident. The Lucknow section bench of the Allahabad High Court has taken automatic cognizance of the incident of Hathras and summoned the additional Chief Secretary home, DGP, DM, and SP on 12th October. The court questioned the functioning of the police.
CM Yogi had constituted the Siti: On September 30, a three-member sit-in was constituted under the chairmanship of the Secretary’s home to probe the Hathras incident on the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In addition to women officers SP, Poonam, dig Chandra Prakash has been inducted as members in the Siti. The sit had inspected the spot with a meeting with the family of the young woman in Hathras. Based on the facts surfaced in the interrogation and preliminary inquiry by the policemen, the SIU has submitted its first report to the Government on Friday. The sit was given seven days ‘ time for investigation. Now, a number of new facts related to the incident are expected to emerge in the polygraphy and Narco analysis test of other policemen including SP, litigants, and others.
There will be a punishment that will become an example: amidst a political environment that has been thundered by the increased crimes against women in many other places after Hathras before this action, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke of a tough attitude against the culprits. The chief minister said that there will be a punishment that will set an example in the future. The chief minister tweeted, “The dignity of mothers and sisters in Uttar Pradesh is ensured by the mere destruction of those who have the idea of damaging self-esteem. They will get a penalty which will give examples in the future. Your Government of Uttar Pradesh is committed to the safety and development of every parent.
Cm Yogi spoke to the aggrieved family: The government has also come into action after the heart-breaking incident of Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken up the responsibility of justice and help to the aggrieved family as well as investigation of the case. He has assured all possible help by talking to the aggrieved family. The family has announced Rs 25 lakh, a government job, and a home in the city.
This is the whole case: Tell us that on September 14, a 19-year-old scheduled caste girl was attacked in the Chandra area of Hathras when she went to take fodder in the field with her mother. On the mother’s writing, the police registered a fatal attack against four accused in the village and a case in the SC-ST Act. Later, a section of the rape of the statement was also added. However, police claim that the forensic report has not confirmed the rape. The police have sent the four accused to jail in the case.
The girl’s neck was hurt in the attack. There was difficulty in breathing. This led to the first recruitment of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh. He was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, but the victim lost his life after 16 days. On the same day, his body reached Hathras late in the night, where he was cremated under the supervision of the police. The death of the young woman is a tremendous outrage among the people.
