Akora Khattak of Pakistan – Where is Darul Uloom Haqqania Seminary ‘Jihad University’. Maulana Yusuf Shah has proudly announced the list of Taliban fighters who have migrated from there, especially he has mentioned the Taliban actions against Russia and America in Afghanistan. Among the Taliban leaders who have left from here are those who are included in the team that is compromising with the Kabul government today.
Students stay here for free
Shah also said, ‘Russia has been broken by students and graduates and American goods have also been tied up. we are proud.’ The campus of Akora is 60 km east of Peshawar. Here 4000 students eat and study for free. It has been the bastion of regional extremist violence for years and Pakistani and Afghan refugees are taught here to wage a war of jihad against Russia and America.
Support in Pakistan
This seminary (madrasa) has also received heavy support in Pakistan. Here political parties have a close association with religious organizations. This month the leaders of Darul Uloom supported the Taliban incursion into Afghanistan and defied the government of Kabul. The government of Afghanistan is already experiencing an edge in violence because the US has also started preparing to withdraw the army.
‘Right to target foreign soldiers’
A spokesman for Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani, Sedik Siddiqui, says seminaries like Haqqania give rise to militant jihad, create the Taliban and threaten the country. Afghan leaders say that Pakistan has allowed madrassas, which gives evidence of its support to the Taliban. Shah did not accept the promotion of violence in madrasas but defended the right to target foreign troops.
