26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind and Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi will be given one and a half lakh rupees every month by the Pakistan government. The Imran Khan government’s proposal has been approved by the sanctions committee of the UN Security Council. When Lakhvi’s hand surfaced in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, it was put on the list of banned terrorists by the United Nations Security Council.

Lakhvi will get one and a half million every month

According to the report, Lakhvi will be given 50 thousand rupees for food every month, 45 thousand for medicine, 20 thousand for expenses, 20 thousand for lawyer’s fees, and 15 Hajar rupees for travel. The Imran Khan government appealed to the UN Security Council to give money to Lakhvi.

Pakistan was released in 2015

In April 2015, Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, who was imprisoned in jail on charges of the Mumbai terror attack, was released. Then Pakistan argued that no concrete evidence has been found against Lakhvi. It is said that Lakhvi went underground for a long time after Rawalpindi was released from Adiala jail. However, he continued to lead his terrorist organization.

Close ties with Hafiz Saeed

Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi has close links with Hafiz Saeed, an international terrorist, and Jamaat-ul-Dawa. It is believed that his position in the organization is number two. The terrorists Ajmal Kasab, David Headley, and Abu Jundal who were caught for the Mumbai attack also named Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi in their questioning. Intelligence agencies had also stated that it was in contact with the terrorists during the terror attack.

Lakhvi first came into discussion in 1999

Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi first came into the limelight in 1999. In the Murdike conference against India, Lakhvi then spewed a lot of venoms. Later Lakhvi’s stature grew after being involved in several terrorist incidents. It is said that he was also behind the 2006 Mumbai local trains explosion.
