WHO Team Arrives In China To Explore Origin Of Corona, Probe Launched In Wuhan
An international team of 10 experts led by the World Health Organization has reached China’s Wuhan on Thursday. The team will find out whether the coronavirus originated from Wuhan or not. Bowing to the initial reluctance and international pressure, China has allowed the WHO team to come here. Beijing alleges that the Covid-19 virus, which caused the global epidemic from its Wuhan city laboratory, was born and spread worldwide. US President Donald Trump had first alleged this and termed it a Chinese virus.
The WHO team of experts will also be the centre of the virus, especially Wuhan. The first case of Corona was found in the same city in December 2019. After allegations by several world leaders, including Trump, the WHO had talked about going to China to check the source of the virus, but Beijing was not ready for it in Shanzaraat. He was reluctant to allow the WHO’s ten-member team.
