Nashik: The second wave of coronavirus continues in India and new records of Covid-19 are emerging every day. This has led to oxygen shortage in many states and in the meantime, a major accident took place at a hospital in Nashik, Maharashtra and an oxygen tank was leaked (Oxygen leak from Tank) at Zakir Hussain Hospital.
11 people killed in an accident so far
Briefing about the incident in Nashik, Maharashtra Health Minister Health Minister Rajesh Tope (Rajesh Tope) said, ‘So far 11 people have lost their lives in the oxygen leak accident, while many are said to be in critical condition.’ He said patients died due to lack of oxygen at Zakir Hussain Hospital. All these patients were on ventilators.
The fire brigade controls situation
Oxygen gas spread across the area after an oxygen tank leaked at Zakir Hussain Hospital (Zakir Husain Hospital) in Nashik. A fire brigade team had to come for rescue and the situation has been brought under control.
