The second wave of corona also attacked children and now in the third wave, it can prove to be more dangerous. Because of this, the Ministry of AYUSH has issued some guidelines to keep children safe. It is feared that the third wave of corona infection may come in September or October. According to experts, the third wave can be very dangerous for children. In such a situation, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH, wearing a mask with the use of Ayurvedic and naturopathy, doing yoga, identifying the five symptoms of the disease, consulting with doctors, along with parents have been advised to take the vaccine.

What is the guideline?

The first measures to prevent corona are to wear masks, wash hands and maintain social distancing. Children must use them. For this, it is the responsibility of the parents to make their children aware of them.

Children from 5 to 18 years are required to wear a mask, while for children between 2 and 5 years, the mask is dependent on their desire and if worn, then the parents should take care of the child.

Children should stay at home and avoid traveling as much as possible. Parents keep children connected with friends and distant relatives through video and phone calls.

Even if symptoms of corona infection are seen inside a child, then keep them away from the elderly.

Recognize corona infection in children by these symptoms

If the child has a fever for more than four to five days.

Reduce the amount of baby food.

Feel short of breath.

The child seemed lethargic.

If any of these symptoms appear in the child, consult a doctor immediately.

Take care of children with these remedies

If the infection is seen in children, give lukewarm water to drink.

Children above 2 years of age must brush their teeth in the morning and at night before going to bed.

Children above the age of 5 years should be given oil massage and gargling with warm water.

Oil massage, nose oiling, pranayama, meditation, and other physical exercises should also be encouraged considering the potential of children above 5 years of age.

Apart from this, a decoction of turmeric milk, Chyawanprash, and natural herbs should be given to strengthening the immunity of children in Ayurvedic remedies.
