APEDA Organizes Buyer-Seller Conferences To Increase Exports

New Delhi, 21 November The Ministry of Commerce said on Saturday that APEDA held buyer-seller conferences via video conferences during April-October with potential importing countries such as the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, and Japan to boost exports.

The ministry said in a statement that in addition special meetings were held with countries such as Singapore, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, and Latvia for fresh fruits and vegetables.

According to the statement, these meetings gave a platform to the exporters of India to discuss the export of basmati and non-basmati rice, grapes, mangoes, bananas, pomegranates, fresh vegetables, and organic products. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) promotes exports of agricultural products.
